Tough, cracked heels? Scaly skin from the remnants of your last summer sunburns? Dry hands?
I have found your cure: Suave’s shea and cocoa butter lotion.
I purchased this lotion after I went to the beach this summer and got a terrible sunburn. After it healed, my skin was still flaky so I went and perused Target’s aisles until I found something that caught my eye.
The lotion smelled heavenly, and it was a good price, only about $3 for an 18 oz bottle. I was sold immediately as I am on a college student’s budget.
The lotion applies easily as it comes with a pump top. I pumped some into my hands and applied it to my problem area, and it was as if my skin was brand new.
I used the lotion once a day for about three days. After that, my scaly sunburned skin was shining and radiant again.
Another pro about this lotion is that it doesn’t leave your hands feeling oily after you apply. I have used some lotions in the past that have left me feeling like I need to wash my hands after use. Suave’s absorbs into skin nicely for a smooth rather than slimy feel.
When selecting a lotion for daily use, I wanted something that would smell nice, but wouldn’t be overpowering. The lotions labeled “unscented” often have a strange smell to them that I don’t really like.
The Shea and cocoa butter lotion smells wonderful, but the scent is discreet enough that it can easily be mixed with an everyday perfume or body spray.
I use my lotion all over at least three times a week after I get out of the shower. It is best to apply lotion to already damp skin as it helps your skin absorb it more easily.
Despite the fact that I have been using it so frequently for about three months, I still have only used about half a bottle.
